Book Review – No One Ever Asked

No One Ever Asked by Katie Ganshert

I’ve been wanting to read this book since before it’s release date, and finally had time today!
This is one of those stories that will linger with me for a long time.
So many real life issues are faced here. Written with excellence, with honesty, real-ness. It all comes together to make such an incredibly gripping tale.
Adoption–the rawness of it, especially when you have a new child that has experienced so many hard things.
Racism. Oh man. I’d like to think that our country is way beyond that. Then I read something like this and realize it’s just not true. What can I do to make a difference?
Marriage struggles.
Teenager and parent struggles.
Health issues.
And much more.
This is one of the best books I’ve read in recent months, and I have a feeling it might be my best read this year!
