Dani Pettrey

Are you a lover of Christian suspense novels?

Have you read any of Dani’s books?

She is one of my favorites in this genre!

She has a new book releasing in less than a month, and it’s the final book in her Chesapeake Valor series. I always have a love/hate feeling about that last book in a good series–I love reading it, and reaching the conclusion. I hate reading it because it’s the end!

About the book: Burning debris littering the ground . . . smoke pluming in the acrid air . . . this is just the beginning if he fails.

Seven years ago, operative Luke Gallagher vanished to become part of an elite team set on capturing a deadly terrorist. When Luke returns to face those he left behind, their help becomes his only hope of stopping his target’s latest threat of an attack that would shake America to its core.

Private investigator Kate Maxwell never stopped loving or looking for Luke after he disappeared. But she also never imagined he left her or his life by choice. Now he’s back, and together they must unravel a twisting thread of secrets, lies, and betrayal, all while on the brink of a biological disaster.

Will they and their love survive, or will Luke and Kate become the terrorist’s next mark?

She is now offering all new subscribers a free download of her Suspense Starter Kit.

This kit is a great way to get to know Dani’s books. Subscribers will receive an overview of both series, including an excerpt of each book (except Dead Drift).

    1. In each of the earlier books in this series, it would allude to the ‘missing Luke’. This story finally ties up that storyline. I really would not recommend reading this one first. It is a terrific story, but everything makes so much more sense if you’ve read the others.

      1. ok thanks! I have the others coming from the library. I’m part of a blitz tour on July 3 though so just hoping I can get through them all in time! It looks like a great series!

      2. If you are at all a fast reader, you’ll get through them in no time… books like these, once I get started, I can hardly lay it down until I’m finished!! 🙂 Happy reading!

      3. Yeah unless I’m really busy I can read a book in a day or 2. I’m good at picking books up but not at putting them down… at least till I’m done lol
