Today, I’d like to share a line from this book…with which I am currently enchanted. I keep going back and forth between reading the paperback and listening to the audio version (which I borrowed from the library, and is such a great way to keep reading as I do my work around the house). The British accent on the audio version is ahb-su-lutely delightful!.
This is not a Christian fiction book. But it is an absolutely charming story about how the little island of Guernsey survived during WWII.
Susan Scott is a wonder. We sold over forty copies of the book, which was very pleasant, but much more thrilling from my standpoint was the food.
