My Thoughts

This book is the continuation of this heartwarming series about the Norgaard brothers. (You will definitely want to read the first book before this one)

Now Haakon is working on board a ship. Thor and Aven are expecting their first child, and family life goes on.

Just as touching and heartwarming as the first book, the reacquaintance of this sweet family is such an enjoyable read.

As in the first book, the author ties in difficult issues that are relevant to life today, and were also relevant back in the 1890s.

The setting and the characters are exceptional and you leave this book feeling as though you are leaving friends behind.
