Once again, I have a new favorite!
This newest book of Lynette Eason’s is so, so good!
It’s intense! There’s a lot going on, and it is a real page turner!
From the very beginning, FBI agent Allie is constantly in danger. It’s like she’s staying just one step ahead of whoever is after her. And…she is, at the same time, trying to take down an incredibly dangerous assassin, Gregori Rodchenko.
I just loved getting to know Allie.
I also enjoyed the relationship she had with Daria. I think this was possible because they had so much in common. And Allie was one person Daria could trust.
Linc St. John as Allie’s partner, was also a great character. The romance between them was good.
This book is full of danger, twists and turns. The author keeps you guessing as you read the pages.
I did have a suspicion about the bad guy, a bit before the end, but then, I had to keep reading and quickly finish the book. 😉
All in all, a fun read, and a great romantic suspense novel!

In case you’re interested, here is the book blurb:
FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. When the woman he loves, Allison Radcliffe, is killed, he devotes his life to tracking down the killers and making them pay for their crimes. He expected it to be a challenge. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her “murder.” As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn’t sure how he’s supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time–this time for good.
And now…I’m thrilled to share this photo here (although if you follow me on social media, you’ve probably already seen it!). Yes!! I was privileged to meet Lynette Eason about a week ago at the Fiction Readers Summit (frs2019). It was so good to meet her in person and chat with her a bit, and tell her how much I enjoy her books…and of course get some autographs!! 🙂
