My Thoughts
If you’re married, this book is for you!
I found this book to be quite inspiring! It is filled with helpful, practical tips on what to do to make a marriage better.
This book doesn’t necessarily have any life shattering or new and unusual truths to reveal. Rather, it is filled with the kinds of things that we probably already know about and have heard about many times. The things we tend to forget or thing they’re not worth bothering with. Dr. Stieglitz shows us how doing a combination of these things really can help strengthen a marriage.
This book is good for people who are newly married, or ones who have been married for awhile. For those in good marriages, who are just looking for ways to keep improving, or for people in a struggling marriage who can just take one tiny step at a time.
One thought that really stood out to me– Be kind. It sounds so simple, but this really is at the root of many of the things we can do to have a great marriage. Putting our spouse first, and treating them how we’d want to be treated.
I found this to be a very worthwhile read. I hope to put to good use some of the things that I read in these pages.
