Edited to update: My review schedule is currently booked. If you are not on a time limit, you may contact me anyway, but I’m booked out about 3 months.
Do you need a reviewer?
Let me help you out!
Disclaimer: I need to add this upfront–currently my schedule is relatively booked. Unless you are on an emergency, plan to contact me at least two months before you are needing a review done!
Book reviews:
Because I love to read, I am especially excited about sharing with others about new books I’ve read!
I do this both verbally and through social media online. I do have my preferred genres, of course, but like to think that I can offer honest, insightful, and unbiased reviews, even if a book might not be in my preferred genre.
My preferred reading genres:
(all under the Christian market)
Fiction: mystery, suspense, inspirational, contemporary romance, historical
Nonfiction: inspirational, family, parenting, women’s
I only want to read and/or promote books that are safe for everyone to read, especially as I have young daughters. This means no bad language or sex scenes.
If I do review your book, here is what I need from you:
Send me an email at allofakindmom@gmail.com, tell me a bit about yourself, your book that you’d like to have reviewed, send me a link to your book so I can take a look at it myself. If your book is self-published, it needs to be edited (unless you’re hiring me to do proofing instead of reviewing 😉 ). Tell me the date you’d like to have the book review posted on.
If I like your book, I will do a blog post about it. In addition to blogging, I will also post a review on Amazon and goodreads. If I don’t like it enough to blog about it, I will still do an honest review on those two websites.
Format-I do prefer print copies, but can also read mobi versions on my kindle.
Thanks for considering me to review your book, I look forward to hearing from you!
Or maybe you are looking for a beta reader, or for someone to proof your book?
I’m looking to add some of these types of projects to my schedule.
No, I do not have a college degree, or any professional training. What I do have is a love of reading, a stickler for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Proofing & editing:
I do have some experience in proofing articles & documents. In the past, I worked for a marketing company as a proofreader, I held this part-time position for approximately 5 years. Spelling and proper grammar are very important to me, I feel like it is much harder to properly read and enjoy a book that does not have these!
You can get in touch with me here, by leaving a comment, or sending me an email at allofakindmom@gmail.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
