My Thoughts…
The second book in Tammy Gray’s Bentwood series, and it was just as attention-grabbing as the first!
This one has April as the main character, and I was completely hooked into her and her life!
I was enthralled and captivated by her story, her character. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster–I was convinced April was heading down the wrong path, she seemed destined to make the wrong choices! So much of her life had been about making everything picture-perfect in her life. Her parents demand perfection. But is this what she really wants for her life?
Ms. Gray skillfully wove life lessons, and much truth, into this story line. We need to let go of who we think others are demanding us to be, and look for the person God wants us to be.
Sean is such an amazing hero in this story. The love he offers April is truly a godly love.
But is she willing to take his love if it means losing her family?
One other thing I wanted to add….I was given an ecopy to read, from the author…and I was so honored as to have my name, along with part of the review I wrote, in this book (If you get the chance to read this book, be sure and look at the very first page ;)! I told my family that my name is now ‘in print’ even though I haven’t written a book. I count it such an honor to be given this privilege of reviewing books for authors, and giving back to them in a small way for the many blessings I’ve received over the years, especially from reading Christian fiction. I have found Tammy Gray to be a talented writer and look forward to more good reads from her!!
