What an incredible story of action and suspense!
I have just added Elizabeth Goddard to my list of favorite suspense authors!
This book was so good. It is the first I’ve read of hers, but it definitely won’t be the last!
I loved the storyline. The characters. All of it.
Willow is a forensic genealogist. (What even is that?!)
She worked with her beloved grandfather, and now he died and she is left picking up the pieces of their joint business and trying to continue.
The one unfinished case is an FBI cold case. Looking for a young woman who was abducted from her mother right after birth, only it happened 20 years ago.
When she starts being threatened, she realizes that someone out there is afraid she is going to discover the truth.
But who?
And then there’s Austin. Willow’s ex-boyfriend. He has skills to help her. In fact, her grandfather had reached out to him before his death, hiring him to help on this particular case.
Can Willow handle spending time with him again?
I love, loved this story. The author kept me guessing the entire time.
It was action-packed and suspense filled the whole way through!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
